On occasion, a student may have a specific need that may be met by either private lessons or tutoring. Our specialists in the fine arts and design can tailor such a program. The student is expected to continue in-depth work between meetings. This approach makes the most of contact time with the instructor. The studio work is done between lessons, while instruction and critique would happen during the individual instruction. The ratio of studio time to class time will be about 60% on own to 40% during the meeting. If a student needs additional space and time, accommodations can be made for the student to work independently in the spacious and well-lit NEAS studios. |
